Walker Interactive Systems filed Articles of Incorporation in the State of California on Thursday, November 29, 1973.  It started as a provider of High Performance Mainframe financial and controls applications, mostly in IBM's DB2 Relational Data Management System. Later had products which ran on the Mainframes under CICS, AS/400, and on various Unix platforms. It went public on the NASDAQ stock exachange on December 9, 1993, with the ticker symbol, WALK.

In 1988 had revenues of ~$13M, with net income of ~$1M.

In 1989 has revenues of ~$19M, with net income of ~$0.7M.

In 1990 had revenues of ~$28M, with net income of ~$1M.

In 1991 had revenues of ~$44M, with net income of ~$3M.

In 1992 had revenues of ~$62M, with net income of ~$10M.

In 1993 had revenues of ~$65M, with net income of ~$3M.

In 1994 had revenues of ~$69M, with net loss of ~$12M.

In 1995 had revenues of ~$59M, with net loss of ~$9M.

In 1996 had revenues of ~$63M, with net loss of ~$0.1M.

In 1997 had revenues of ~$71M, with net loss of ~$3M.

In 1998 had revenues of ~$101M, with net income of ~$4M.

In 1999 had revenues of ~$88M, with net loss of ~$37M.

In 2000 had revenues of ~$51M, with net loss of ~$26M.

in 2001 had revenues of ~$49M, with net income of ~$1.4M.  On March 6, 2001, WALK was delisted from the NASDAQ National Market and placed on the Over the Counter Bulletin Board.  On November 1, 2001, Walker acquired from the adminstration receiver of QSP Group PLC, QSP's intellectual property and consulting contract, headquartered in Newcastle, United Kingdom (global provider of financial systems on mainframe and UNIX platforms to Global 2000 companies) for $2.0M.

In Feburary 2002, Walker announced they would do business as Elevon, Inc.  In September 2002, they sold their United Kingdom operations to Novele Limited (doing business as "Arelon") for $16.5M.

In 2002 had revenues of ~$42M. with net income of ~$21M.

On July 22, 2003--SSA Global Technologies Inc.(TM) (SSA GT(TM)), a leading global provider of extended enterprise solutions and services, announced the completion of its acquisition of Elevon, Inc. for an aggregate price of approximately $20,466,458 in cash.
