Walker Interactive Systems filed Articles of Incorporation in the State of California on Thursday, November 29, 1973. It started as a provider of High Performance Mainframe financial and controls applications, mostly in IBM's DB2 Relational Data Management System. In Feburary 2002, Walker announced they would do business as Elevon, Inc. In September 2002, they sold their United Kingdom operations to Novele Limited (doing business as "Arelon") for $16.5M.

On July 22, 2003--SSA Global Technologies Inc.(TM) (SSA GT(TM)), a leading global provider of extended enterprise solutions and services, announced the completion of its acquisition of Elevon, Inc. for an aggregate price of approximately $20,466,458 in cash.
